Sniffing out a good deal

As many of you know, I love to find a good deal. Before I had the twins, I often spent Saturday mornings going to estate/yard sales hunting for treasures. I've been a little busy recently (just a little...) so I haven't had as much time to indulge in this little obsession of sniffing out a good deal. This past Saturday, there was a huge neighborhood yard sale just around the corner from my house so I snuck out early before the babies woke up to see what I could find. I was so excited because at my first stop, I found this handmade sandbox that I'm sure my kids will love for years to come! Can't wait to fill it with sand and let my babes enjoy.

Must Be Summer!

We tried watermelon for the first time today and it was a great reminder that it must be summer. Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys a little taste of summer!

Five years and counting

Today I am celebrating five amazing years with my husband Jono. Words can't express how much he means to me. He is my best friend and I can't imagine going through the ups and downs of life with anyone else. In some ways, the past five years have flown by and in other ways, it feels as though we have been married our whole lives. I don't really remember what my life was like without him!

Splish Splash

We had our first trip to the pool this past weekend and I had to post a few pics. We weren't sure if the babies would like it or not as they haven't taken a huge liking to their bath time. They don't hate the bath, they are just sort of indifferent. Well the pool was a different story! Jackson loved to splash in the water and while Emma Kate seemed more interested in her pool toys, she was still pretty content. Looks like we will be spending many summer days at the pool!
